Two is better than one
Random sample measurements leave nothing to chance
External circumstances, such as heavy rain, chemical pollutants and non-permitted waste in the inflow, can heavily impede the wastewater treatment process at a wastewater treatment plant. It is necessary to respond to these fluctuations and the process must be adapted accordingly in order to ensure sufficient quality of the purified wastewater and suitable energy consumption.

Customer benefits
Quick, flexible on-site measurements to address deviations
Verification of on-line measured values
Digital documentation using the Memobase Pro App
Cost savings through optimized aeration processes
The challenge
One step in the cleaning process involves using bacteria to break down dissolved organic substances in the wastewater. To ensure optimal bacterial growth in the aeration basin, air is continuously supplied. This requires regular monitoring of the oxygen levels in the aerated section of the basin. Insufficient air can hinder the growth of ammonia-degrading bacteria, compromising cleaning quality. Conversely, excessive air can lead to high oxygen levels, increased energy use, and higher costs.
Our solution
The Liquiline Mobile CML18 handheld device, connected via the CYK10 cable, allows measurement of pH, conductivity, and oxygen using various sensors. These sensors enable direct process measurements, with the watertight Memosens connection ensuring secure data transmission. Measurements can be synchronized with the Memobase Pro App for documentation. Stable oxygen values require in-process measurements during ventilation to prevent bacterial consumption of oxygen.
