70,000 companies participated in the Leading Employer Awards, which are handed out only to those who place in the top one percent. Endress+Hauser Wetzer received especially high marks in the employee satisfaction and employee benefits categories.
“We offer our employees particularly attractive services in the areas of health management and prevention. Volunteer leisure activities such as jogging meet-ups can also strengthen bonds between employees,” says Frank Walle, Director Human Resources at Endress+Hauser in Nesselwang, Germany.
The family-owned company also has a strong focus on its value system and corporate culture. For this reason, the spirit of Endress+Hauser establishes a set of globally applicable values and beliefs that shape the company and help employees identify with the culture. The document contains important corporate principles, outlines what the company expects of its employees, sets out behavior guidelines and conveys the guiding principles from management.
The Leading Employer Award is designed as a meta-study that relies on input from current and former employees, auditors, expert committees, journalists and statisticians to create as comprehensive a view as possible of the company being evaluated. Among other things, the study takes a look at employee satisfaction, image, talent communication, values comprehension, HR expertise and services available to the employees.
