Welded thermowell with patented design to control the process at peak efficiency and performance
Precise temperature control bears great potential for conserving energy, avoiding critical plant conditions and maintaining product quality. If the response time of the sensors is too slow, operators may need to adjust the process parameter tolerance windows. Otherwise, the process will not run at peak efficiency and energy may be wasted. Response time can be an issue, particularly when a direct contact thermometer cannot be used and a thermowell must be used.
Fast responding thermowell for critical applications
Smart product design for fastest response time
Fast responding thermowell for critical applications
Smart product design for fastest response time
Benefits
Up to 5x faster response times
Optimized thermal coupling between insert and thermowell
Applicable with replaceable standard inserts ⌀ 6 mm (0.25 inches)
For temperatures up to 400 °C (752 °F)
Endress+Hauser has developed a special fast responding pipe thermowell for process environments that require the use of a protective tube. The patented QuickLink design provides up to five times faster response times compared to conventional thermowells by eliminating the air gap between the sensor and the thermowell walls. The temperature probe benefits from the best possible thermal connection to the process. As a result, the process can be controlled at peak efficiency and performance.
