Declaration of compliance of battery packs with regulation (EU) 2023/1542
The manufacturer Endress+Hauser SICK GmbH+Co. KG, Bergener Ring 27, 01458 Ottendorf-Okrilla, Germany, hereby declares, under its sole responsibility, that the battery packs listed in this declaration comply with the applicable requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 on batteries and waste batteries.

The designated battery packs comply with the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542.
Safety information
The following safety information must be observed when using, transporting, and disposing of the battery packs:
- Do not open, damage, or short‑circuit
- Do not operate outside the permitted temperature ranges
- Risk of explosion if used improperly
- Use only in approved devices
Ex‑specific requirements
For use in potentially explosive atmospheres, the following Ex‑specific requirements apply:
- Use only in approved Ex i systems
- Replacement by qualified personnel only
- No modifications permitted

- Immediately take the device out of operation
- Do not continue using the battery
- Contact the manufacturer

- Shipment only in accordance with ADR / IATA regulations
